Description
“Typically British, this brown ale with the addition of dried elderberries is a dark beer with a friar’s cassock color. On the nose it is rich in warm and spicy tones, dried fruit, roasted fruit and bitter cocoa. It is a round beer, with a moderate bitterness and a pleasantly acidic note given by the elderberries. The taste is toasted cereal and biscuit, but also herbaceous and liquorice, with hints of red fruits and berries, in particular strawberry and blackcurrant.”
